about
arewefriendsstill.
At 14 I got my first camera, with a DSLR in hand I felt like I could stop time around me. Over the next decade I began experimenting with anything I could get my hands on. From computer software, film cameras, paints, fabrics, drawings and scans I began to make work that mixed all the different medias I could throw together.
At a young age I started creating content initially with my older brother and later with friends hoping to make it in a world quickly exploding, gaming and skits. With mental illness my motivation came in waves and I always found myself starting projects just to move on from them.
Creating was something that stuck with me through my entire life. I now consider myself a maker at heart and I'm always striving to learn new skills to bring my creative thoughts out of my head and into the real world.
arewefriendsstill has become the project to host them all. Here you'll find posts about the process of creating, selected work in the gallery, as well as a place to shop all my art.
